The display is timed to coincide with The Association of Children's Museums national Convention happening in Pittsburgh April 30 - May2. Author and illustrator Eric Carle is a keynote speaker, and we were asked to create artwork inspired by his books and illustrations. We used his painted paper collage technique to create our beautiful art too!
Kindergarten artists recreated the beloved Very Hungry Caterpillar:
1st grade artists created beautiful landscapes and seascpapes:
7th and 8th grade artists created illustrations for an alphabet series called:
A, B, C's: Animals, Beasties and Critters:
The artwork is on display April 22-May 5th!
